ABOUT US...

The basic idea was the rhythmguitarist's Sándor Bornemissza, who met music of Scorpions first in 1985. It wasn't too difficult to get to know and to found off the music of Scorpions for a whole life, because of its special sound, which is able to make people of millions to move all over the world, after forty years too. After the Hungarian "Rudy" used to move from Moscow to Budapest at the beginning of ninetieth, he got to know the leadguitarist, József Borsos. They used to play together in several kinds of style, but they used to practice Scorpions songs the most. There had already passed away almost ten years, when the SCORPIONS TRIBUTE BAND started their tries. The purpose was absolutelly bright for the rhythmguitarist: to create the first, (in Hungary and in Middle-East-Europe) the only Scorpions Tribute Band. The Band, which doesn't follow fashionable tribute-trends, and join to the row, but the Band, where five musicians magics back the Scorpions-feeling for the audience, in also sound and lights. For the audience of several generations, who Scorpions means not only excellent music for, but it means a life feeling and life philosophy as well. This is a grateful task for the Band, that they may perform such as a German band's songs, which has a traditional relationship and friendship with a LONG PAST to Hungary.

The leadguitarist's old friend, and drummer of his previous band Zsolt Szirtes joined to the two guitarist in January of 2004. The bassguitarist, Balázs Baranyi arrived in February of same year, then practicing began. The biggest challenge was to find a suitable singer, but fortunatelly the Band could choose between more potential persons. Finally, they chose Péter Schrott, who is a member of the younger generation, but he learned and warmed to the Band's repertoire and concerts began. The has already played anywhere till this time, in pubs, or at festivals, audience accepted their productions with a huge interrest. They might have played several times before such as popular hungarian rockbands, like: Edda or Deák Bill Blues Band. Their concerts are organized perfectly, from perfect sound to lights. You can hear together with "New Generation", such as classic songs as: "Make It Real", "Is There Anybody There", or "When The Smoke Is Going Down."

As it was written by life, the Band had a kind of "metamorphosis" in autumn of 2005. The band is going to continue touring with new members in 2006. One of the new members is a 21-year-old leadguitarist, Péter Tóth, who took fresh energy and power, and a new enthousistycness to the band. Tamás Varga is who became a new drummer. The band's intention is to perform music of Scorpions on the highest level on stages, in Hungary and abroad as well. The Scorpions Tribute Band accepts each Scorpions-Fan with a huge love at their concerts.
